She does! She mostly sings in the shower or when drunk really loudly and obnoxiously, but if she actually tried to sing it wouldn't be as awful as many would assume. She got a lot of practice singing lullabies and nursery rhymes to little Germany, but she feels self conscious compared to Austria so if you ask her she'll either say she can't sing well or go on and on about how it's for losers and she has better things to do

So she doesn't sing as well as Austria? How do you imagine their singing voices?
Austria has been professionally trained in singing. Obviously she puts her piano first but to her her voice is an instrument so she treats it like one. By contrast, Prussia only sings when she needs to or feels like it, like lullabies for little Germany or in the shower or at concerts and clubs and such. So Austria's voice sounds more smooth and balanced when she sings whereas Prussia's voice sounds more raw

I don't really know that much about music personally so for their vocal range I'm just gonna steal what a friend said on twitter and say Prussia is an alto and Austria is soprano and sometimes Austria teases her about it because she can.
Interesting, I was thinking the opposite--I imagine Prussia to have a higher pitched voice, a soprano, and Austria to be a mezzo-soprano. But other than that, I agree w/ your headcanon. I think Austria's vocal abilities is like that of a classical crossover singer.
(This anon sings for fun, and has thought of taking voice lessons btw.)
I could go either way on her voice really, I have a hard time picking out what her voice sounds like to me tbh. On the meme I've played her has having the ability to sound eerily close to male!Prussia mostly to intimidate Germanies which would mean her voice is kind of deep. But I can also see her having a really high pitched voice since male!Prussia has one hers could be even higher and more annoying. I dunno.
(and anon you should if you can, I have a lot of friends who do and they all love it and say it makes them feel really good)
Well to start with her favorite genres of music are metal and hard rock, she's very much the type of person that uses music for escapism; she likes being able to blast loud as hell music and scream her lungs out to the lyrics and just completely let loose (no one told her it doesn't count as escapism if she always acts like that). That's the type of music she fangirls about.
But she does frequent dance clubs, she's kind of a party girl, so she hears pop and pop rock a lot. The thing is, that's the only place she hears it, she doesn't go out and buy the CDs or download the MP3s for that kind of stuff. Not that she doesn't like it, if she hears a song often at clubs she'll dance to it and eventually learn and sing along to all the words but she just had no clue who the artist is

Yeah it's a fine line, but Prussia seems more like the type to rule more hardcore to me.
She finds it really boring actually haha. She's not blessed with the longest attention span and she's very finicky about the type of orchestral music she likes so it's not a very good combination for watching opera.
