Puzzled

Apr 05, 2005 23:28

I was asked a question today, by Holmes of all people, that genuinely startled me.

When did I start hating myself?

And I find I have no answer.

i'm sure you don't hate yourself, sweetie.
everyone has things they don't like about themselves, but no one is perfect.
Don't sweat the small stuff. Just be the best Brooke you can be!

Someday this'll all be a distant memory. Maybe I'll even laugh!

Okay, not laugh, but chuckle lightly?

Thanks for everything.

There are worse questions that can be asked. Like for the one that would be asked of me would be, why can't u get involved in a relationship that does not contain drama...maybe I hate myself too and enjoy the destructfulness.

It's possible, my one-time therapist would probably think so. Maybe we're both secretly masochistic, obsessed with melodrama. I certainly hope it's just a phase.

I think we're both alright, just going through some interesting times that'll give us thicker skin in the end.

Take it easy, eh?

Thanks, I needed to read that. I am doing my best to take it easy. Keep this up, I may have to root for Chelsea..

You know you want to, anyway. ;-) Only natural, given Chelsea's amazing skill.

Is that Man U in third spot?

What a question.
But people see us as we don't see ourselves.
Maybe they see something in you that you don't recognize. Maybe they see that you are unhappy and just used hate to describe what they can see.

Anyway, I hope that you feel better soon and love yourself for who you are and others will see that. :)

You probably have something. I just didn't think I was as obvious about it as he made it seem. But I'm glad to have friends like that who will bring things up. Else I never may have paid attention.

Thanks for your positive thoughts. :-)
