I like the rain

There's no chance of getting homesick for Ireland with the weather staying like this. It's fabulous. And the fact that it's September and I have warmer days on the horizon, rather than snow threatening overhead, is a thrill I'll never get over. I've been many places in my short lifetime and I affirm that New Zealand has the best climate of them all ( Read more... )

And I know exactly what you mean about respecting people's work, but not necessarily having that same respect for them as a person. I see that all the time, especially with people here at work.. *sighs*

Oh, I respect them, don't get me wrong, at least on the levels that matter. I just have some issues with pride and envy that are even stronger than said respect. Not that I have troubles admitting when people are better than me...
