that was so strong... i had no idea what to expect.. maybe something playful... hmmm. but no, this was just hard and real and so much like what it was probably like. i think of lureen in the hospital, everything perfect, but i never thought what it was like for alma. i feel like i've found a missing section of the original story. thanks so much for sharing it with us. wonderful writing. s.
