KISS

I thought I'd mostly done with Brokeback fanfic, but there are a couple of things which still gnaw away at my brain. This story arose out of one of them. It won't be to everyone's liking but I hope it will at least be worth reading. All I ask of readers is to not jump to lots of early conclusions.

For the sake of a label, I'll call it AU ( Read more... )

So sorry I didn't get a chance to comment on the first chapter. I read it a bit late, so I am now back for chapter 2. I am very intrigued with how you started this new fic, and like the others, I am glad to see you writing another story. It wasn't that long ago I read "The Outlanders" on dave cullen.

Lou seems to be a nosy sucker, so a good one for Ellis to leave alone. And, It's amazing how the managers wife treated the workers to such a nice Christmas dinner.

I look forward to this continuing. Would you put a short synopsis in your heading? I'd really appreciate it!

Hi,

I'm new to BBM Slash since this summer and have had a great time reading up on many past stories, including the ones you've posted earlier. This one is an interesting spin on canon. After reading the first chapter I though it would be a maybe a couple chapters long, but now I'm thinking you have your work cut out for you to get these two close enough to kiss!

The voices of Jesse/Jack and Ellis/Ennis are authentic and your writing style is curt and descriptive. Thanks for writing this fresh story.

Susan

Dropped my work to read this. Missed your writing. Can’t wait to see what you have cooked up for these two.

Can't wait to see where you go with this. So many years have gone by between these two men and what they once apparently had. One seems hopeful the other seems too bitter to allow any one close or anything nice happen to him. It is a very interesting concept and story. Thank you, Gail

Come again? I'm not able to follow the bread crumbs to the discussion. Click on the pretty picture, then on ... I'm not finding it.

Click on the picture which brings you to Planet HL index page. Go down the page to Force of Nature - Heath's Art, and you'll see Films, and Subforum: Brokeback Mountain Discussion Threads. Click on the subforum and you'll find about half a dozen threads of discussion. Enjoy!
