KISS

I thought I'd mostly done with Brokeback fanfic, but there are a couple of things which still gnaw away at my brain. This story arose out of one of them. It won't be to everyone's liking but I hope it will at least be worth reading. All I ask of readers is to not jump to lots of early conclusions.

For the sake of a label, I'll call it AU ( Read more... )

Great chapter ! It kinda amuses me how Jesse cannot find a way to get closer to Ellis.... And Ellis spending all this time alone, adjusting... it makes me wonder why did he come here ? And after Lou's comment, doubt he will let anything happen !
Love it, thank you so much !

your writing has always been special to me, there is a depth and a breadth to all the characters, the ones we know and the new ones, and there is a grown-up adult quality that really draws me in (and makes me exercise patience waiting for chapters!) i am so glad to see this story continue.

when i saw that a new chapter was up i read it right away and realized that i'd forgotten chapter one. so i went back and reread for the continuity.

i love your writing, its clear and thoughtful, very descriptive. i have copied your other story and printed it out so i can read it in hard copy whenever i want. there's just something about a book that i love. i can see where this one is destined to be printed out as well.

i hope that the men will be able to work something out so that they can be together, but ellis' experiences have really rocked him and i almost think it will be too much for him to rekindle their relationship. and i'm so sorry it took so long for jessie to reach out to ellis. there's been a lot of water under the bridge in all that time.
