This sure is a rollercoaster, a very emotional intense ride. Powerful writing from start to end. I try every time to not be overwhelmed with emotions but it’s totally impossible. This always hits me deeply…**sigh ( ... )

I suppose things would have to get worse before they get better. I have faith that Rob would get over this eventually... maybe he just has to grow up a bit more. From how he shouted at Jack, he was actually more upset because he thought his Dad was gonna abandon him even way back. And Lureen's reaction is very realistic as well, including the little bit of "understanding" towards the end...

At least now the secret is out and despite the outcome, it must have been a huge relief by itself.

oh... Junior. That's probably all the reassurance Ennis needs to hear.

I have to say, Alma here... she's something :P I love the silent treatment and the two pieces of cake message. but of course, she has plenty of time to get over her shock and hurt, she'd know hatred would do her no good.

So... emotonally, they are in good place (sort of... despite Rob), they just have a find a place in the world where they can live as themselves.

Thanks for the chapter. Most enjoyed, as always.

Very intense but great chapter. They finally told everyone and it went better than expected. Rob got pissed, but if he asked how he could find them, he'll be OK. Alma giving 2 pieces of cake was her way of saying OK. Lureen's way of taking the news proves she's on hell of a woman.
