Sorry to jump in here... yes I am nosey!... but what is the superstition about cutting nails int he house? I also prefer to do it outaide but have no idea why, I just do. My curiousity is piqued now...

I was raised that to leave anything bodily related laying on the floor was a 2fold sin. First it was a slap in Gods face because it was essentially a part of his creation being thrown to the floor.. and secondly, the Irish believe in the ability for someone to curse you if they come into hair/nails.

I also make the folks at the salon sweep the floor and give me the hair they cut. *wink*

In cutting your nails outside you are keeping with teh natural cycle of things.. giving back to the earth from whence we all came, ect. You know, ashes to ashes and all?

Yeah.. we are a strange bunch, but gotta love us!

and no reason to worry about nosy, I am almost terminally nosy too... lol. I just decided I am gonna add ya.
