BASICALLY: I know that this pairing is not your bag, nor are m/m slash fics generally speaking, and I had made my peace with the fact that you probably wouldn't be reading this story -- it's long, and that's a lot to slog through if it's not something that's working for you.
So I was completely surprised to find this comment, and really...really pleased and happy and flattered and generally floaty-hearts-and-sunshine when I read it, because not only did you very kindly dive into this thing in the first place, it seems to actually be doing for you what I so dearly hoped that it would -- telling a story you could care about, even if it's not one that's particularly well-tailored to what you'd usually read.
