oh my that picture

I love how Jet's looking at Gen's betrayal; how he's not just writing him off as a traitor but is actually taking circumstances into account. S-so mature you've grown a lot, boy.

Zuko being awkward in public <3

Yeah, Jet such a leader. I love the duality between his stages of character development there and aww Smellerbee so inspirational.

Fireside family song night XD Awesome. Song and dance night. x5 awesome. Dancin' Xiao and Roo? x7.5 awesome.

Oh Uncle. Oh Zuko. ;_;

Oh Jet. ;_;

This chapter was just sweet and sad and sappy and heartbreakin' and adorable all at once.

Huh. Okay, I somehow thought after the last chapter that not only had the teashop burned down, but most of the Freedom Fighters who hadn't been at the Dai Li meeting were captured/dead. My own misreading, and I retract some of the aaaa ( ... )

"And, ok: Jet consoling Zuko, when Zuko is confronting the extent to which he wasn't just not part of the solution, he was part of the problem, slowing down and distracting Aang, is the first that I really buy this pairing. Jet also almost could have killed the Avatar, Jet is in a unique place to understand where Zuko's coming from, their parallel journeys of growth and redemption blah blah blah, I can finally see how they make sense for each other. It's never made sense to me why people are so into this random minor character, but, ok, here, I totally feel him as a satisfying romantic partner for Zuko, giving him something important that his various other possible pairings would not. So, official endorsement, "Something to Hold Onto: Converting Non-Jetko-Shippers Since Wednesday Morning" or something."

^Yes. This.

The reason I love this story is because it's slightly plausible, and oh, so very well written.

I thought I'd long since gotten over this pairing.

Damn you ali_wildgoose! I thought I was over this!

What I love about this chapter is how it's all about what they fight for. A lot of times people will get focused on quests or battles or whatever, but they think scenes like this are boring, scenes where people are just being happy and peaceful and having fun and arguing over folkdances and shyly admitting that they play the flute, kind of. So I loved just getting to spend time with everybody ( ... )

I love this chapter. It is like fluff in disguise. I am also glad Jet is forgiving to Gen. I'm surprised the OWL hasn't offered jet or Zuko a position yet. Question: was Pakku smoking opium? The drunk!Camp was awesome. I'm suprised Iroh didn't want Zuko to play the Tsungi horn wasn't there one there? Because in the Book 1: Water popup edition it said Zuko is a naturally gifted Tsungi horinist.
