I should change my little icon for livejournal from "writing machine" to "feeding machine" as Gabe eats about every half hour. I've gotta admit it's a little exhausting.
He sure is cute though.

The media ARE driving me nuts. I cannot even watch the news in anticipation of the weather forecast because of its coverage of Virginia Tech tragedy. I just think it's gone beyond coverage, and the newscasts are now bordering on sick obsession.

Let the summer begin ... with packing up the apartment.

I was watching the news -- bombs exploding in Lebanon look like fireworks. How horribly depressing.
I can barely stand to watch the news.

because I've been writing a lot lately, and that's where all of my interesting thoughts go.
So yeah.

Somehow I'm going to have to figure out how to cram an entire summer into three weeks come August. I hope this insomnia lasts until then because I'll be completely capable of fitting at least half of the summer into those three weeks if I don't sleep ( Read more... )
