Kat's Introspections Episode 1

Hello and welcome to the first edition of Kat's Introspections, where I ramble about something, normally in respect to myself. (Yes, I'm going to be that vague on the description of this.) I'll try to keep it to a set topic each time without going into tangent world. This first one will be very short, since I'm in class waiting for something to ( Read more... )

I actually noticed this same effect when faced with my formal report for phys lab. I worked until 2:30 in the morning without feeling the urge to stop. I however do not work efficiently without sleep. I've found that missing out on even up to one hour of sleep can make me feel like not doing any work at all. The extreme event of staying up late and getting really dazed, yeah that will destroy the desire to not do it. My biggest problem for working is just getting up the motivation. Sometimes, I just work without really thinking about it. I function logically and precisely to accomplish several tasks at once. Other times, I just don't feel like doing ANYTHING at all(this includes video games). I think what I really lack is the desire to work, chiefly because I don't really have any specific goals. I think that having three full meals a day is too many; I - the "Black Hole" of a Teenager - never have three full meals. If I do, I need sleep. SO I think this cocamamie (no idea how to spell that) idea of three meals a day is the governments way of trying to make the world even more lazy.

Yes.

Government making us lazy. Wonder why they'd do that? Hmm...

What?? hiryuu15 October 18 2008, 17:23:52 UTC
That's completely ridiculous, but I like the theory because of it. It is completely understandable for people to not have 3 meals a day. I personally get hungry, so I eat, but I don't think our ancient ancestors always had access to a large supply of food or even enough for three meals a day. I find it better to eat a small amount more spread out. Snacks all day :).

They're making us lazy so we can buy more junk. Capitalism runs of lazy people that have money.
