Today was Bella's fifth birthday. She's so big, I can't believe it! Anyway, for a present, Aaron and I decided to give her what she's been asking for, for a long time now.
Part of the reason we got two was so they'd have built-in entertainment, and never be lonely. It is also really hilarious when they chase each other from one side of the apartment to the other--it's linoleum or hardwood floors most of the time. :)
She is really happy, though we're concerned that she might be mildly allergic. She was sniffly when we left Canada, and it's been a pretty high pollen count here, so it's hard to tell. I hope it's not the cats.
It's so fun to watch them, and learn their personalities, because they are very distinct in that way. They look so similar, we literally can not tell them apart without looking at the collars or picking them up--Pippin is a little smaller.
UberGeek and both our sons are allergic in varying degrees so I understand, although we've discovered that for UberGeek it's only indoor cats for some reason. The others he can tolerate, but an indoor cats closes his lungs pretty quickly.
I hope you continue to have fun with them, and I'm sure that once their personalities assert themselves, you'll be able to tell them apart easily.

She must've been so happy with her mischievous presents. Merry and Pippin are perfect names, and I'm sure they'll be a big part of the family.
