I injured my knee far more than I thought I had at first and refused to rest it the way I should have. I plan to lay off it this weekend. Hopefully, it will be fully healed in time for the next set of matches. I don't want to skip practices, but I don't think I should put any more pressure on it. Please let me know your thoughts.

You said it was fine. You said, stop bothering you about it.

I knew it was worse than you said it was!

Tachibana-san, you should have rested it from the time you injured it. You have told us many times to take care of our injuries before our pride on the tennis courts. Why can't you take care of yourself like you make us? You're not setting a very good example for us to follow by doing that.

Aww, Tachibana-kun! You gotta try and get better before we start practicing doubles!

Kamio & Ibu:

Guys, guys ... you've been waiting to say something like that for almost two years, haven't you?

It's not that bad. I can still play if I wrap it tight enough.

Akutagawa:

Akutagawa-kun, I hope to be 100 percent soon. We have to be ready for our matches.

Niou ...?

Thanks. It's not going to turn me any other interesting colors, is it?

Tachibana-san, how many times have you pulled us out of matches because we were hurt. You even made us forfeit before. You should be following your own advice not forcing yourself to play.

I confess, Ibu-kun. I hate taking my own, obviously good, advice. I learned my lesson.

No, not two years, only about... six months? Maybe a little more.

Too bad I can't do your disappointed face.
