It never ceases to amaze me how I can still get butterflies talking to someone online who I have never met or heard on the phone. Isn't that, like, soooooo high school? Shouldn't I have grown out of shit like that?
but isn't adolescent love the best sometimes? i think it's a little purer than as when we try to be all grown-up, put on a tough face, love sensibly. i'm not talking about immature love, but the glimmer and glee that comes with adolescent love; by getting so caught up in your hopes that the world spins just for that one person. i say we love without abandon and walk through its fire.
First off, this has nothing to do with you. Second, I agree, I do like the butterflies. I just hate when the world stops spinning and you fall down and then get burned by the fire.
for a while there, i hate to admit it, but whenever someone was talking about getting butterflies i thought of that Santana song with Alex Band (my fave)/Chad Kroeger. i used to hate that song, but then i grew to really like it.

See - that would be adolescent.
Butterflies just mean that you are alive.
