Last night was Brad's wedding.  It was a nice time.  I managed to get in a lot of socializing.  A LOT of socializing.

This morning, as I woke, I noticed:
My bed is all tore asunder.
I have butterflies in my tummy.
The sun seems brighter.
The breeze seems warmer.
The birds seem louder.
The squirrels seem busier.

And I know why!

I has hangover.

Now tomorrow, grandma has lung cancer surgery.  And we're trying to get grandpa to go down a floor and have his pneumonia checked out.  It's not getting any better.

Let this shit be a lesson to ALL smokers.  Mother, gandmother, grandfather...  All smokers.  All had/have cancer.  One has pneumonia.  One had a massive aneurysm.

Turns out that when I have had a few drinks, I am remarkably truthful and willing to tell people how I feel.  This has its ups and downs...

After a week of eating a little healthier and running the lake a couple times, I have lost the fast 3#.

I want to lose 3-5# more so I can get under my 185# nominal weight.  Soon, the weights will be in full use.

I'm on the phone with a friend, just yapping about his crazy soon-to-be-ex-wife.  I look out the window and I see a duck.  It's just walking up the street like he totally belongs.  It takes a left-ish turn up my driveway and walks under my truck.  Odd, right ( Read more... )
