Great news - The NSW Government is planning to lift their ban on growing industrial hemp, allowing it to be grown on a commercial scale without the need for a licence. Huzzah! We were planning to grow hemp when we buy our property, now it looks viable :)

Lessons in respect bear fruit in arid soil
An indigenous youth counselling program in Western Sydney is making great strides with traditional Aboriginal teachings - very different to conventional counselling methods that do not appear to be working very well. The program, Learning Ground, is unable to secure Government funding as this would mean admitting the current system is flawed!

Steve Buscemi is pretty cool.
I've always liked him as an actor, but today I learned something that made me think even more highly of him.
