Apologies for the lack of advance warning--things have been a bit hectic over here--but the 5th annual Lord of the Rings-a-thon is well underway! We started around 7:00 PM with the Microsoft Word 100-word autosummary of the trilogy, and moved on presently to the series itself.

I fear it's been two years since I took Groves' Middle English course. I wanted to hunt up my old pronunciation cheat-sheet before the chapter, but didn't have time. Of course, I wasn't very good at pronouncing Middle English when I was in the class . . . :)

Fantastic! 8-] Listened all day (Sunday). Poor Hilary. ;-] Falling asleep. Really sweet of you and Julie to share the last chapter. You dad and Eichling got to hear it (they're still working on the water heater while I dog sit Freya and Lucifer).
