One of my friends had 'abnormal erosion' and her results came back normal. Turns out it was her tampons were causing a bit of friction on and drying of the cervix. She hadn't felt it and it hadn't caused and wasn't going to cause any problems.

*hugs*

I hope it's all good in the end, hon.

After my 2011, I know odd things to hear in those exams.

Yeah, me too.

I'm glad yours turned out okay, I'm fairly sure mine will... but... (you know me and medical stuff). Also, I am somewhat superstitious, because today I couldn't find my ring that I always wear, the ring given to me by my dying aunt, who suffered ovarian cancer. Today of all days!

what you really, really don't want is for the doctor to be speculum deep in your vag

No, I think this about sums it up nicely. lol

On a more serious note, I know you are worried but I wouldn't be too concerned. Whatever is the matter (if there even is anything the matter) I'm sure there's an easy (if not vaguely gross) way to fix it. Maybe he'll come back and tell you to masturbate more often, in which case, doc ordered masturbation FTW! lol.

Seriously. I hate pap smears.

Doc prescribed masturbation? Does that mean I can claim a new vibe on my health insurance? I want to see the forms for *that*.
