the sky has been so clear this past week and the moon so bright.
lights off at night, window shades open, floors flooded with silver shadows and outlines.
it's quite nice.

and believe it or not, quite quiet.
i kinda wish it wasn't, and i don't think i should be waking anybody up

so, my girl used her thumb today. honest to goodness picked up her pacifier using that lovable opposable thumb. OK, I'll admit that it could be fluke... but I have seen her "grasp" things in her hand before, but this is different from before...

tonight my house is starting to smell like baby.
i walk upstairs, and i got myself a house full of girls and all the makings of a little family.
