Last night I got to reconnect with a friend whom I haven't talked to in a while. He and I are notorious for long conversations (last night was 4 hours, but our record is 7), so I've been putting off calling him for when I have that kind of time to spare. As we head into Mother's Day weekend, here's a little reminder to think about all the moms out there, not just your own. Moms don't always get enough credit for the work they do, and even though I'm not a mom, between the teaching experiences with my students and being a cat mommy, I can get a sense of how difficult, yet rewarding it can be.
