He's a bison, not a... machina? Yeah. Appa's just a flying bison, we used to have a lot of flying bison's at the Air Temple. When I find him do you want to try flying? :3

Your "flying bison" is certainly one of the more unique creatures I have seen. He should not be hard to spot if he is around.
