Memorial Day Weekend Trip
Ah, it's nice to be home :) darph_bobo and I spent the weekend visiting his brother and family down near Mechanicsburg. Since it was going to be a glorious weekend, we took the bikes. Rain, rain, go away!
It rained today. While I know we need it and it will knock the pollen out of the air (making allergy sufferers rejoice), it's not fun to ride in it. And this front took it good ol' time too. First ride!
Woohoo! I'm still grinnin' from ear to ear :D My first ride of the season was this morning. It was a bit chilly, but the promise of a nice afternoon was too much to resist. OW!
I hurt. Do not ask me what I did, but I hurt. More specifically my left foot hurts bad enough that I can't put my full weight on it. This started Friday, but got much worse today. Basically the pain is centered on the outside edge of my left foot with a focus just in front of my ankle. I have limited mobility of the joint, moving one way hurts, ( Read more... ) -

What is up with all of these stupid "toolbars" for browsers? Google, Yahoo, AIM, spyware...no I do NOT want your stupid toolbars. Every stinking piece of software these days wants to install one of these dumb things. Usually the result is that it breaks our Oracle apps by installing a pop-up blocker ( Read more... ) -
Bailey update
It's been almost 2 weeks since we took Bailey to the vet and she's doing markedly better. She's not her normal self yet though, so I'm still a bit concerned. She looks healthy, is eating like a little piggy to put that 10oz she lost back on, and is moving around fine. The problem is that she still seems to lack the energy to do things. Mommy, I don't feel good :(
Bailey, my kitty, hasn't been her usual self the last few days. She's been pretty lethargic and not eating or drinking like she normally does. Last night, when she came to sleep on me I felt her shaking like she was cold. Now we do turn down the heat at night, but 65F should feel good, not cold, to a furry kitty.
