Favorite: Norweigian Wood. Currently reading: Hard-boiled Wonderland.

Hm, Kurt Vonnegut? I've only read one book sa kanya (Breakfast of Champions), but it made me feel sad that he's dead nao. Will be reading Bluebeard next fwee~

Dry Brit humor: Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy etc. by Douglas Adams

Man I am so useless when it comes to books, the only thing I remember I've read and liked a lot was Catch-22... and A Separate Peace but in reality the only thing I remember about that was the gay I would rec them both anyway!?!? Esp. Catch-22!

I thought Twilight was nicely written. I liked the prose a lot. :# Just because it's popular with teenage girls doesn't make it crap. >XD

ANYWAY. I always recommend Neil Gaiman's books to everyone. He writes lovely books and he's also such a lovely man. xD You've probably read him already, but if you haven't, Stardust or American Gods are good books to start, I think.

(Yes, I'm a sucker for good fantasy.)

do try twilight. addict ako dun. haha.
also stardust by neil gaiman. the movie did justice but the book is better. ^_^
and the kite runner by khaled hosseini. ^_^
