the moon hangs high outside our barracks tonight. it's almost full, and seems brighter than usual. the silver light filters through the window in our living room and gives enough ambient light to type. clear air, diamond-specked sky. just gorgeous ( Read more... )

Oh, Kali baby. I know it breaks my heart, too. So many of our guys from our region were down there.. it actually made us very un-protected up here. But more on that later. Call me sometime! I miss talking to ya! 530-624-9444
