Dentist recommendations?

I'm looking for a family dentist in Windsor, someone who is gentle and good with kids, preferably in south-east Windsor but a bit further afield would be ok. If you have anti-recommendations of people to stay away from, that would also be great! Thanks in advance.

I used to go to Dr. Drkulec's office when I lived in Windsor and really like him and his staff.

My son was terrified of the dentist until I was pointed in the direction of Dr. J.P. Starr in east Windsor (near Lauzon & Tecumseh, back behind Xcess Cargo).. not South Windsor like you prefer, but it's worth the trip. I couldn't tell the staff enough how scared/nervous my son was about dentists, and they were AWESOME with him. Extremely understanding, patient and very kind.

My co-worker & her siblings also had him as a dentist.. in fact, she liked him so much she saw him right up until she was 18 LOL... finally they told her it was time to see an adult dentist.

My siblings and I have all seen Dr Neilsen in LaSalle (LaSalle Dental Centre) for decades - almost 2 decades for me. He is great with kids, and his prices are reasonable. A bit of a drive, but it is worth it for a good dentist.

dr demarco was my dentist when I was young and he was THE BEST. Last i knew his office was right across from the market on ottawa and walker.

Dr. Young is also fabulous as well! It's been a few years since I've been to her (see an adult dentist now,) but she was fabulous and never told me I was "too old" to see her. I made the decision at 19 I think? I don't remember, to stop seeing her. I see Dr. Souliere now (LaSalle Dental) and she's ok. I find her kind of pricey, but I have full dental coverage.
