"he was still a stranger, like having a really picky guest in your home who you want desperately to please."
Excellent description, and spot on how I've been feeling. Our bonding was thrown off by my persistent illness her first 2 weeks, but it's getting much better. I'm looking forward to the smiles that the pediatrician swears I should start seeing in the next week.
he is beautiful!! i like the picky stranger comment, children can be like that alot. especially once they become older, and we cant throw them out of our homes like we would a picky stranger. 6 weeks has flown by, and by the looks of him youve been spiking his formula with miracle grow! im glad that your doing well also, and hopefully it wont be too long till he sleeps through the night.i dont think the restless nights ever end though, how many nights did we keep our parents up worrying?

It's super soft, too. I can't get over it.
