Twilight Zone much?

Last night when I tucked Ariana in, there were two goldfish. A fat whitish colored, very aggressive one. And an orange one. The orange one was barely moving or eating yesterday. I assumed today it would be following in the footsteps of the other fish and going to potty heaven. Where the good fishes go ( Read more... )

That happened to me soooooo many times when I had fish. I wish I had any clue what happened; it's possible, I suppose, that the other fish ate it, but highly doubtful.

I doubt the other fish ate it. The missing one was the bigger one. Spontaneous combustion, perhaps? ;)

Yes, we checked the filter. I'm seriously boggled by this. If anything is missing tomorrow, I might cry. And I will believe that my house has been mysteriously relocated to the Bermuda Triangle. But, then...I would be missing too, right? Hmmm...

you have cats, right? the same thing happened to my friend when we were in elementary school and they couldn't figure out where the fish were going. somehow the cat managed to get in and eat the fish, or the fish would somehow jump and then the cat would eat it.

We do have cats, but the fishtank is in Ariana's room. We never let animals in the kids rooms. So most likely not possible.

Maybe the Orange one got tired of being pushed around by the whit one, so he ate him...lol. That's all I can think of.
