Hostalgia is a thing that should be encouraged, perhaps. in the liner notes to his quasi best of Luke Haines reflects upon his discography. A remix album that cost £250 to produce and that he has never listened to recieves 5 stars because he gets 100% of the publishing. Aztec Camera's "High Land Hard Rain" is a curious beast. Hampered by awful, washed out production, 80's instrumentation and average playing it still manages to be a classic: at least for me. So it's come to my attention recently that I'm stuck in a rut. I was walking home at 2 in the morning and as I neared the main street I instinctively turned off down a side road.
