The amount of people at the NaNo meeting today really made me happy. The fact that there are so many people who see this as something worth doing help to make my efforts easier. When I get down while writing my book, I'll think of the others that made this commitment, and it will keep me going. Thanks for showing up guys ( Read more... )

In any case, don't give up on home - deep down inside, the only difference is that less shit will be scared out of you. As long as some is, it's worth it ;) :P :). Enjoy, lol :)

apparently there's a haunted house in lawrence where they take your money, then show you pictures of people with their heads blown off by wars and aborted fetuses and stuff and then try to get you to convert to christianity.

maybe it was kansas city. either way, its advertised and set up (until you get inside) to look just like a real haunted house, so you might not know youre goin until youre lookin at an aborted fetus.
