I get all these great thoughts running through my head and things that I want to write about in my journal when I’m sitting at home, relaxed … or laying in bed TRYING to fall asleep.  Unfortunately, I don’t have a computer at home (shocker in this day and age - I know!) so by the time I get into work, my passion for certain topic has dissipated.

Hah, having been in his situation, I can understand the dynamics. Its a lot of stress and anxiety to be "just friends" with people you have feelings for. But my recommendation would be to stay apart and not allow yourself to be sucked into being his crutch. It will be much harder for him to heal his weakness for you if you were part of the healing process, whether he admits it or not. He WILL need help, but it unfortunately can't come from you.

If the friendship is strong enough, it will survive the ordeal. If not, its probably for the best.

where were all these sound advice before? LOL! kidding! You're right though. I just need to remember your advice for future :-)

Hun, I'm all full of advice. My biggest challenge is successfully following it myself. :D

For example, I'm finding intent is only loosely related to what actually needs to happen when it comes to interpersonal relations. Hmm, lemme restate that in clearer language: You often have to be cruel to be kind to people you care about. Its a counterintuitive concept for those of us who grew up going to church or simply believe in trying to be a good person, so its something that has to be learned.
