This year I have decided to make goals, rather than resolutions. I never keep up with resolutions, and frankly, there's not much I feel I need to necessarily change about myself -- just things I'd like to do better. ( So here we go.... )
Great goals!! That's funny! I set "goals" for myself too, not resolutions. I think it makes more sense to do that. I'll be posting mine soon. Maybe you can help support me in one of my goals since it overlaps with your Goal #1...I want to run my first marathon this year, so I can use all the tips I can get!
Ooh, how exciting -- I would love to help support you in running your first marathon! You're going to feel such a great sense of accomplishment even after your first few weeks of training, and there really is no better way to get into shape. (I am also secretly relieved that there will be a few others enduring the running hell that will take over my own life for four months.) Congrats on setting a great goal!
Great! So which marathon do you plan to run and when? How far in advance do you usually start training? Is there any type of training method that you use? Let the questions begin right?! :)
I hear you about #6 - I have had some experience with that myself. It can be rough watching all your friends get bridal attention while wondering "where is my ring already?!" I've been there - so feel free to vent away if the urge should strike! :)
Ha! Please reference pages 1, 2, 3, and 4 of my journal for when the urge striked. Just kidding, just kidding. I'm just hoping this year that I'll be too focused on my friends weddings to worry about my own impending engagement. :)
