In light of the new year, new goals, and more specifically, new fitness aspirations, I've decided to devote tonight's post to the art of the first marathon.

This year I have decided to make goals, rather than resolutions. I never keep up with resolutions, and frankly, there's not much I feel I need to necessarily change about myself -- just things I'd like to do better. ( So here we go.... )

Please don't mind the rather depressing subject line, but it just hit me today that Christmas IS indeed over! My Mariah Carey Christmas CD was barely dusted off, and poof -- just like that, it's time to stick it back in place among my old Toad the Wet Sprocket and 'N Sync CDs. Sigh.

I shall relive it one more time though.... ( Long and verbose recount with pics inside. )
