Another Hellmouth Slice short story-Chance Encounter

Jan 21, 2010 20:37

The muse has been absent for a long time. Trying to come to terms with my business closing down and all those feelings that created, I've been too depressed to try writing anything. But it seems that I'm finally over the hump now. Here's another short story in my Willie the Bartender series-I hope you guys enjoy it. Rated G. 915 words.

When two vampires have a chance encounter.... )

Nicely done. These glimpses of Sunnydale from Willie's pov are addicting. :)

Thank you. I think you're safe though-the stories would have to be written much more frequently to actually be addictive.

Liked the conversation between Angel and Spike. Animosity with and undercurrant of family. Nice work.

Thank you.
Those two certainly have their issues with each other. :-)

Thanks Mark. Can't get any better than two thumbs up.

I like to use it -- it means something good is going on!

No wonder Willie always knew what was going on. And this is a great FitB, looking at the other side of Joyce's death.

Yay! for the return of the muse.

Thank you Petzi. It's good to have the muse back. I've missed writing, but just couldn't come up with anything worth finishing.

Willie does know everything that's going on. He sees the same faces over and over every night. Gives him a real edge. :-)

Yeah! I've missed your stories.

I'm a huge sucker for an outsider's perspective, and Willy is just fun. Plus Spike & Angel...I like this one a lot!

Thank you Z. I wanted a chance to put Spike and Angel in the bar at the same time and Joyce's death was the perfect opportunity.

Glad you enjoyed it. :-)
