My dad got married to Berrin Yavuzer six months ago, privately. Today he had the "wedding party", which was just a great group of friends and family, and lots of really good Turkish food. They made vows when they got married six months ago, and repeated the vows privately today. The vows, and the emotional connection between them, made me cry. ( Read more... )

I went snowboarding yesterday, and it was one of the most amazing experiences of my life. There was this great deal at Diamond Peak in Tahoe for first time snowboarders to get rentals a two hour lesson and all day lift ticket for $55.
