Is there such a thing as pure love? If so, what are the conditions for love to be pure? Can pure love exist if it isn't reciprocated? If so, what is a scenario of pure unreciprocated love?

Let me clarify what I mean, by giving some examples of things that I view as impure love, or possibly not love at all but some things mistaken for love.

I have so much to do by Thursday. I was supposed to read a book by Monday, of which I read the first chapter, figuring that I could bullshit my way from there. I have a program on my computer called College Alarm Clock, that will open any file or play the first track of a CD when you tell it to. Unfortunately it doesn't work WHEN YOUR COMPUTER CRASHES!!! I need to buy an "old fashioned" alarm clock.

I am bad at receiving compliments. I ignore them. I don't say thank you, or your welcome, and I don't deny them either. I simply ignore them entirely and move to a different topic. I hope people don't think that I take compliments for granted or that I don't appreciate them. I just don't know how to respond to them.
