Thanks, gimligirl for making me keep my poncho from Jurassic Park! Had you not done that, I'd be in for a second (and a third, and a fourth) shower today, right along with all my clothing and everything in my backpack!

Now that I've had the day of rain I was asking for, I'm definitely ready for it to be gone. Very gone. I imagine everyone coming in this weekend is in agreement with me.

I agree with that sentiment entirely. I like it in short doses because it makes everything feel clean, and new, and reminds me why I love the sunshine so much. But that's exactly what it does - reminds me why I love the sunshine, and would rather be in it than the rain. I'd like to hear the rain one more night as I'm sleeping (so calming) but have it stop around 6am so we can have a mostly dry, sunny day.
