YAY I AM NOT ALONE IN THINKING THIS! I always wonder if I'm insane. LET US BOND TOGETHER! *clings* I don't really like not knowing what people are talking about, but I can't help if I just can't get into it. I gave an effort, too!

I can't wait for Labor Day-that means I have no work! It also means that I don't get paid for that time...>_>;
But anyway, I see what you mean with the kpop. I tried getting into Super Junior because of the tall cutie I like, but I can't seem to get into them either. DBSK will always be my kpop source-hands down. Jaejoong is too cute okey? u_u
I'm stuck in between. Both fandoms own my wallet. LOL. Can you imagine how costly that is? X0.
I used to be a hardcore japanese fan for 6 years I think ~ and I always used to watch anime dubbed in arabic when I was a kid. And ever since January of 2006~ I branched out to korean entertainment. LOL.
Super Junior do nothing for me, there's too damn many of them. And more is not always merrier. XD Is it sad that even though I just recently got into Super Junior I agree with you entirely there? Because I'm sure that I would like them even more if I could tell more than five of them apart and could remember all their names XD;; I swear I am working on that But I always seem to have trouble telling people in groups apart, even in JE, so this is nothing new for me -___-;;
Um you already know my stance on Kpop - I have my hands full with Japanese and Chinese to be jumping into Korean, and JE just by itself shit out enough crap to keep me occupied well into old age, but I don't think that 'not knowing what they're saying/not being able to pronounce their names' is a good excuse - when you first got into j-culture you probably googled your heart out to find out more. You don't need to rationalize why you don't like kpop, just say you don't like it! Also, Korean and Japanese grammar is surprisingly similar, and a lot of the pronunciations are similar too, so korean entertainment more than any other asian entertainment will the the closest thing to 'home.' When I was watching Goong I started picking up on Korean, too bad that series was too dumb to continue.
I haven't heard everyone song ever, I don't know the entire history of everything. ahahaha this is going to be near impossible without a lot of money and a deep understanding of yahoo auctions/freelance sellers on amazon.co.jp/and connections to all
( ... )
JE keeps me so occupied that it's almost a good thing all my favorite jrock acts are shitty/disbanded/on hiatus. I couldn't afford to buy all that anyhow. I did have to Google everything when I started getting into j-culture...which was okay, because I was interested. Korean culture doesn't do anything for me, I suppose I should just admit it. XD
I know it will be impossible, but that doesn't mean I can't TRY! There's still a lot of it that's readily available that I haven't heard/seen yet. I still have more to go!
And honestly I learn so much from just reading your lj/talking to you.
I don't know why korean culture doesn't do anything for me. In all logic it should but it's just like...eh, enough awesome ass shit comes out of Japan and America alone (hell america alone could keep me occupied all day long) and frankly they were here first so srry no vacancy korea.
lol k i'm just saying don't hold your breath. I mean I am like the most gigantic shounentai retard ever and every day I'm like "FUCK I NEED TIME-19" or "WTF WHERE CAN I BUY DUET". I am also obsessed with the failed JE talents. Like Cha-Cha and Ninja.
Man, now i feel like i need to hustle up on the rest of JE history. Like, the info is easy to get but it's the pictures that always gets me.

DSBK are really good, and they're all talented and cute and I like them. But beyond that, it's like...not there for me.
