Word. I am glad to find some people going reasonable at this issue and basically share oyur opinions. Especially since the other 5 will hold the tour and there is unlikely to be much monetary loss even without Jin. There are only so many seats you can sell, so the additional option and exposure surely sound tempting to Johnny. I am just glad that this time Jin goes abroad with the support of managemnet and at least claimed support by the members ^^

Me, too! :) It would be very different if he'd broken off on his own without their support.
It's easy to forget that JE is purely a business; they don't exist to make life easy for the groups or their members, but to earn profits for the company. I suppose I can also be pretty calm about this since I'm not investing in traveling to see KAT-TUN perform this year, so I'm not missing out on that, although there had BETTER be some kind of video out there of Jin's solo cons or I'll be sad. It's the only compensation for not having a 6-nin KT con dvd.
Yes, with Johnny plastering his name over the very top of the webpage announcing Jin in US... it made me feel better about this all, as weird as that sounds.
I was at first checking whether going to Japan would fit for me this summer, but as it really does not the lack of 6-nin concert helps me to decide against it, too. In this whole deal we Europeans are totally losing out though.
After reading the first news, I was thinking of this being another 5 months without any news from Jin besides the couple of drunk-party shoots I reall could have lived without... but since they by now declared he'd run promotion in US there should be at least some input, which would make this easier too.
Me, too! I'm seeing both very calm (and sensible, I must say), and also very upset on my flist. I just can't be angry with Jin, and I'm not sure why people are. Company's looking at its bottom line, that's all. They're not going to cancel an already-planned tour and they're also not going to turn down a chance to expand with a popular member.
And I'm very interested in the possibility of Jin doing more dates beyond L.A. :D (because there's no way I'm going to be able to make it out there...my schedule is getting so jammed already).
LMAO. real life angst for potential plot bunnies yeah? :DDD
I'm evil! Hee! :) I think it's more interesting fic-wise when there are a few waves, hmmm?
hopefully it will work out well for both jin & kat-tun. :D
Yes! *fingers crossed* that this pays off for everyone. I just want KAT-TUN to be around for a long time and for everyone to be happy. :) (which means they have to stay profitable!!)
Right! :) Isn't that a relief? ♥ I had this horrible moment yesterday when I thought I was going to have to go through that angst all over again. NO THANK YOU. This is just interesting all around.
