Mudrigal

I had a really nice event. I did not feel terribly invested in much that was going on, but Mark was so clearly thrilled by everything that it made my event that much better. But perhaps we should start from the beginning...

There was mud, rain, lightning, thunder, hail, high winds... )

I so very appreciate your help, and we'd be happy to send some cash-for-gas your way. Also, will definitely be lobbying RC to give some extra CP to all you amazing people who went way above and beyond to get everyone else and their stuff to and from camp.

I was sorry I didn't get to really interact with you, since one of the main things I was told to do with the Countess was "Tell all those Elsheans they're BAD and you're WATCHING THEM." :-)

While I certainly would not turn about a few dollars, it is also not necessary. I really did do it to help out, it was just frustrating towards the end. If only CP would do much for me! I'm almost at the permanent cap for the game which is oh so sad. But Mark could certainly do with more! :-)

Oh, don't you worry, I was aware that I was BAD. I actually expected you to be much harsher on us what with me calling a High Holy Day of my Illegal God on your lands and all. Doo dee doo... :-)

But I did enjoy every minute that I was out there as it was exhilarating to deal with problem after problem and be of assistance to people while the weather whipped around.

See, this is why I totally want you around at the End of All Things. Badass.

Yeah, Friday night kind of sucked in the opposite of your Sunday problem. I dropped people at the camp knowing they were going to get ready while I still had more trips to make. Thus I got to the camp at 11:30 and decided that with unpacking and 45 minutes of makeup to do, it wasn't worth getting into game Friday night.

And yeah, a kind word goes a long way. And since I'm not at the CP cap, I wouldn't say no to a gracious CP, though I would have done it anyway. I like helping people in need. You do realize that it makes people like us easy to take advantage of, even if it's unintentional. Thanks for all the work you put into the pre-game mess.

Sorry if I made it sound like I pulled the only suck card. I can't even imagine how many trips you made!! We were lucky to have fully unpacked before going up to assist others and we were fully packed before game end on Sunday in order to focus on other people's stuff.

I agree that we did not do any of it for possible recompense, but that it is really nice to be recognized. And yes, it does make us easy to be taken advantage of. But I'd rather be easy than not help!

Yes, so glad I could get you guys out of bed for the hailing mud encounter ;)

O gad I need to scrape my brain together and get a PEL out of it.

And glad you enjoyed the wee little extra rub from Elshea!
