For the first time in eight year we are NOT hosting a dinner. No worrying that the house is not clean. No staying up all hours of the night before to make sure food is ready to throw in the oven in the morning. No, it is looking like it may be dinner at a restaurant, well perhaps not for me.

What a strange idea. Holidays say family to me, so to choose to be alone during one speaks volumes to my heart. I spent a number of holidays alone after my first divorce. They were hard. Hopefully you're okay.

BTW, whatever you sent to my cell phone over the weekend can't be opened. Perhaps you've figured it out, or could send to my e-mail?
