Abilities and Magic

Raine's magic skills and abilities from home extensively focused on her healing abilities, with a few light magic spells. The half power barrier prevents her from using the more powerful ones to the extent of their ability, though she's able to use the unicorn horn and supplement them with the skills she's learned from Nala when needed. At full power they're very effective.

Healing arts:

    -First Aid -
    Healing: Refresh and heal tired and injured allies. Fast healing to external wounds.

    -Healing Circle-
    Healing (mid): Focuses a greater concentration of healing to multiple people at once.

    -Dispel-
    + Nullify (larger group)
    Healing: Dispel an ally's magical ailment (debuffs and the like.)

    -Charge-
    Healing: gives her own energy to the target at a greater cost to herself.

    -Recover-
    + Purify/Restore (greater concentration)
    Healing (mid): Cure an ally's physical ailment. [Poison, infection, etc.]

    -Sharpness-
    + Acuteness (multi)
    Status: Temporarily increase an ally's physical strength/attcack.

    -Barrier-
    + field barrier (multi)
    Status: Increases an ally's physical defense

    -Revitalize-
    Healing (high): Provide a greater amount of healing (refreshing stamina, fast healing to cuts, surface wounds, etc) to a very large area. [Utilized under full power conditions]

    -Resurrection -
    Healing (high): Resurrect a fallen ally; restore the body from a "cursed" state, also revive dead plants/trees; may require the unicorn horn for more effectiveness. [Under full power the revival can be done, but not after too much time has passed-- think of it on a scale of dnd unconsciousness. Also probably depends on other conditions, such as the how--if it's too brutal/natural death it won't work.]

Light magic:

    -Photon (light) -
    Engulfs the enemy in a ball of light that explodes.

    - Ray (light) -
    Beams of light radiate from a central point above the enemy.

    * Holy Lance -
    Light (high): Strike the enemy with holy lightning. (Only at full power and with certain conditions)

    * Mystic Arte: Sacred Shine (Only at full power and in certain conditions. Part of the battlefield is circled with a glyph on the ground, and with a blinding flash, it erupts in light, dealing massive light damage. )

    * Mystic Arte: Fairy Circle (Only at full power and in certain conditions. Four fairies fly out in four directions. a glyph appears, covering the entire battlefield. Another blinding flash, and all allies are healed and all enemies are damaged.)

Basic elemental magic:

    [NOTE: The (headcanony) idea here is that she taught Genis the basics, and is a half elf, she would have the knowledge/aptitude for them, save she focused all of her training on healing/light skills. So this is likely the best she will get under the circumstances unless she is able to practice more. In game she just focuses on the healing/light that she is more experienced in because her brother is there and characters like Zelos/Kratos.

    She has a a higher affinity toward water and earth than fire and lightning.]

    - Aqua Edge - [ 1st level water; spears of Water glide across the ground. ]

    - Fire Ball - [ 1st level fire; three small fireballs target an enemy. ]

    - Wind Blade - [ 1st level wind; concentrated air around an enemy begins to slice at it. ]

    - Stone Blast - [ 1st level earth; a pile of rocks bursts up from underneath the enemy. ]

    - Lightning - [ 1st level lightning; a bolt of lightning strikes at the enemy from above. ]

    - Icicle - [ 1st level ice spell; catches the enemy is caught inside an icicle, then the ice cracks abruptly. ]
