I kind of hate working with a bunch of Republicans.

The fury that is slowly building inside of me is the reason you should not discuss politics or religion in an office setting.

Xander and I adopted a dog. His name is Charlie Brown, he is a four year old (or close to that, as he was a rescue dog, this is the shelter's best guess) Whippet mix. He comes home Sunday, and I am oh so excited.

I graduated from college on Friday. Weird.

I was .06 GPA points away from graduating with honors. Grrr. And only at Wheelock do you need a crazy high GPA like a 3.8 to have your academic accomplishments recognized. An accumulative 3.8? Seriously? 3.74 is freaking close enough. I am likely to be angry about this for the rest of my life ( Read more... )

I am currently writing the last essay of my undergraduate career (this teeny break is not enough of an interruption to change "currently").

Weird.

I have a job. True, I took the easy way out and applied for a job I had a very good chance of getting, but it is still a job. Also, it is the responsible thing to do to take this job. I will be paid well and have very good benefits. And living on the South Coast is actually affordable, so I will not only be able to easily afford my bills, rent ( Read more... )

I am done with caring about Wheelock's stupid parking rules and (empty) threats of towing. Though my obsessive compulsive tendencies do not allow me to stop checking that the car is there during the hours I will supposedly be towed, but at least I have stopped inconveniencing myself to not park in am empty driveway ( Read more... )
