So Today is kind of the momnet of truth. It is the first day I am off of the steroids, the second day for me back at work. I dont have the symptoms I seemed to have the second I got off steroids the first time, my ankles feel normal, I dont feel week, Im not really stiff. Im kinda tired and cold and sitting in my kitchen reading about how "We" got osama bin laden, eating fruit and yogurt so I can take the pills that make me able to walk. I have ankles again and I like that, although the hard lumps are still under the skin and I wonder what will happen when I am done the round of steroids. My Legs are tight, really ( Read more... ) -

Im very tired. I've been sick for the past ...hmm. three weeks now. It is a virus called the parvo virus b19, or Fifth disease. Its the human version of a virus dogs get and usually only kids get it in humans. I am tired achy and fairly flu like, and it has caused swelling in my knee and ankles that make standing, walking and ambulation of most ( Read more... ) -

I start my anatomy class at risd tonight. pretty psyched. and by psyched i mean nervous. and by nervous i mean terrified. it is also supposed to snow like a mutherfucker tonight. silver lining?
i get pretty bummed out every time i come here (work). I don't make a lot and I'm pretty unhappy. A lot of yelling happens and I find myself wishing I was at home drawing. and that stopped me in my tracks because for the first time I know what I want to do. It's frustrating because it's what I've wanted to do all along, but at least now I know. I ( Read more... ) -

IN A PERFECT WORLD...i would come into a great deal of money, quit my job and go back to school, so that I could draw all day. For the next three years I would take every available class I could to make drawings and have a BA next to my name that did not mean "bad attitude". I want to spend all day drawing more and more. They called me back and I spoke to the recruiter, but the hiring manager is on vacation and she told me not to expect anything too soon, maybe by tomorrow.
