I am finally on summer break. No more work and no more workshops. Dan and I have been enjoying our days off together. We've been working on things around the house and I spent all day yesterday lesson planning for next year. Which I hope is not a complete waste of time. My Ozzy Boy
Please say your prayers for my Oz. He's had three seizures today. Per Dr.'s orders, we upped his dosage of phenobarbital. At this point, due to the frequency of the seizures it is more likely to be a brain tumor. We can't afford the $6,000 for an MRI so we're just going to have to play it by ear. But keep him in your prayers. -

Sarasota County has to make drastic budget cuts. In one of the recent elections people voted to pay less taxes on their houses, which in turn took a lot of money away from the schools. Our D&D game was cancelled Friday night due to the fact that our only other player's wife had surgery. We really need to find more D&D friends. Having a small group isn't much fun at all. Sweat, blood, and achy muscles
I am so sore! Dan and I did yardword for the first time and hopefully the last time. We decided that we want a lawn service! It took us 4 hours today to pick up all the pine cones, fertilize the lawn, and mow. It's not even completely finished. The part behid our fence which we had cut down still needs a lot of work. Today I had a stranger visitor. Some old guy came ambling up our walkway and knocked on the door. He wanted to let me know that the nephew of the people who had lived here drove by our houe twice today. He says the nephew stole $800 from his house and that he "just wanted to let us know". Dan and I bought a house on Janurary 25th. We're all moved in, but I won't say settled because there is a large amount of boxes still in the garage. We have A LOT of painting to do.
