GOALS

Alright. Let's be honest here. I'm 5'3", I'm 16, and I weigh 150lbs. I used to weigh 130lbs, but I went on a cruise and gained all that weight back. I think these are great managable goals! You can even lose that in one year if you are consistent :) It shouldn't be too bad. In my first month, I dropped 10 lbs. quickly, but now, I'm trying to bust through a plateau...I just make sure to be consistent with it and not let guilty rob me if I flub up here or there.

I am positive that because you were active before and that you are no longer in your dance class now, that's probably a reason for the weight gain. Also, when I was about your age (right now I'm 26) I gained weight during that time. My boobs got bigger and I got hips. I guess my body was upgrading to a "woman's" body. And I gained the Freshman 15, but since then I've been off and on dieting and exercising and never doing BOTH at the same time. Until now. I have finally found a balance where I try to eat well and exercise! And that gives that fastest results, and also because I love my exercise workouts with the FIRM. :)
