To be sure, I find love in the upright bass…and bass in general. I like how the bass and drums make love, and how their sexual energy propells the guitar to orgasmic heights. Friends for sure! I love my friends - they inspire me and support me, and give me the occasional slap in the face (not physically) that I sometimes need. Besides, who else would I jam with? Read my stories too? I don't know. Yeah, I find love in my friends. Most definitely.
