Huzzah for break! Huzzah for being done.

And huzzah for folders of happy information.

I hope everyone has a good december/early january, and a happy nondenominational experience.

One of these days, I'm going to learn that after I contemplate choices and modus operandi, I'll actually change what I'm doing instead of continuing to be the dick I've identified myself as.

I'm not worthy.

It's really awesome when different research conducted over a period of time just so happens to all come together. Throughout 3 separate terms of history, 2 US, 1 European, I've been looking at naval history surrounding world war I. Step one. Realize there is a problem.

Step two. Map connections. Find the bad one(s).

Step three. Call an engineer, who calls an artist. They have a tickle fight, a production meeting, and rebuild a bridge stronger and more aesthetic than before.

Step four. Write down how you fixed the problem.

Don't you hate it when you wake up, and you have this sinking/sunken feeling in your heart/gut like you did something wrong? I have no idea what it might be, but I'm feeling it right now. oh well. Time to go be a TECH/proctor. We'll see how the day unfolds.

one of the hardest things about writing dialogue is giving each character a consistently different voice. I don't mean phrases or mannerisms, that's easy. But how do i keep characters from being the same smartass from character to character?

I wish I were actually good at this.
