i swear i've had the bon voyage ep for years and have never really ventured into it so this is so cool to read. she really got a good bit done for her first trip and yay turtle! what a cutie. they'll make great babies

I've never really explored it either. I always knew what all there was to do, but I never really paid attention to it. Or even tried to accomplish it all. That's why I'm so in love with this challenge right now. It's making me see things about the game that I honestly don't know why I never tried before!

Aww poor Foster haha, Although I think it's for the best because Foster and Palia almost have the same facial structure.

I can't wait to see the gen 3 kids, Turtle looks like he'll make adorable babies.

Yeah, Foster was so close! I really like his markings and skintone, so that would have been neat. But I like Turtle too. I just can't lose with all of these gorgeous PT aliens out there. :)

Oh yeah, and their babies will actually be gen 4!! I can't believe it. It's gone by so fast and it's definitely exciting.

Did you try selecting the sims and seeing if they knew how to do the local gestures? I've run into the problem where I have cleantemplates so there are new vacation sims generated, and they never do the stuff on the own, but they CAN do it if you tell them too. XD

I did try that. Turtle has the vacation mementos saying that he knows the hula dance and the "hang loose" gesture. But when I tried to tell him to do them, they aren't there. So I don't think he really knows how.

I am organized to a fault! Lol, I'm like this with everything in my life. I can't stand things all willy nilly. I have to plan everything and make lists, lists, lists!

YAY! GEN 3! I was so excited I almost posted before reading. :p

That's a bummer about the gestures! I was planning on taking Pear or Apple on vacation to test out stuff anyway so I'll be on the look out for that. I wonder if it can be fixed in simpe somehow... (is afraid to use simpe now though. At least on my Polarity Hood!)

Turtle is so cute and they look great together! I'm excited for the next part because vacations aren't something I've explored a bunch either.

Well, there is a way to make custom vacation locals and have them be able to use the special dance and gesture of their location. It's a mod called the townie brick by Argon at MATY. But it borked my game when I installed it. I'm not sure if I have a hack conflict or something, but I had to take it out. So I wasn't able to use it to make proper locals. I just used Simlogical's teleporter to make them, and I guess it doesn't assign proper abilities to the locals. So you can try the townie brick, but make sure you have a current backup before you use it!

I've already played through the birth of G4, so I'm super excited!

I haven't used the voodoo doll yet. I keep forgetting that she has it! I'll have to take her out on the town and have a little fun with it. :)
