Senseless, terrifying, random. It could happen anywhere. SO glad you weren't any closer to it.

Yes, glad my girls were all home. They'd been wanting to go hang at the mall, but we had an appt. at 4pm. Thank God...

It's just so strange to have something like that happen here. We're not 'Portland' proper...and I keep hearing "Yeah, I can imagine it happening at Lloyd Center Mall...but Clackamas???" But random killings are just that.....random. I keep trying to tell myself that going to our mall is now likely a safer place and the likelihood of anything else happening is slim....but still. Our church worship team had been scheduled to perform Friday in the food court. I hope they go through with it. I think we need to.
